One of its features is that it can tilt away and to do so hold onto your bike rack, put your foot on this lever and just push that down. Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander NV12B- Video
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer.com, and today we are looking at our Kuat NV 2.0 2 bike rack here on our 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander. Now this is a really nice bike rack, if you are looking for something that has all the nice premium features as well as how it can tilt away with our Outlander, and this one's extra special since it has a bike repair stand. One of its features is that it can tilt away, and, to do so, you pull on this lever and that drops down. And this allows you to open your rear door on your car. So as you can see with our rear door, there's plenty of clearance between the door and the bike, allowing us to get in there, maybe grab your helmets or your bags or your water, all without taking your bike off. To get it back into position you can just lift it up here and it snaps into place. more

Now, this is a good bike rack if you have bikes of different shapes and sizes and you want a hanging style rack. So if you have your children's bikes or your larger adult size bikes, this is a really good bike rack for that. With a capacity for four bikes, this does add a little bit of length to the back of your vehicle. Hi everyone, it's Evangaline here at etrailer.com. And today we are looking at our Kuat Sherpa 2.0 two bike rack here on our 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander. This is a premium bike rack with all the nice premium features. I think it moves really smoothly and we have the first feature, which is it tilts away, to do so we go over by this lever and you pull it, this allows it to glide down. With it tilted down, you can see how you can access your hatch. There's plenty of space between our door and our bike allowing us to get into our rear cargo area, maybe grab our bike helmets or our bike bags, without having to remove the bike completely. more

But with that being said, this is a two-bike version, so it can hold two bikes, but there's also a one-bike version available as well.Now, one of the big things that really separates this rack from a lot of the others is how it's going to secure the bike. Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at each trailer, today on our 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Helium Pro platform style bike rack. So right off the bat, I'll say this is probably one of my favorite platform style bike racks. I think it looks really cool, especially on the Outlander. And it's going to be super easy to use.With that being said, one of the things that really separates this rack from some of the other platform style racks is these wheel hooks here. Most platform style racks only have one wheel hook and then a small strap or something like that here at the back. With a hook on each end of the bike, it's going to be really secure, and it's going to work especially well with those carbon fiber bikes. more

One of the big questions we get asked in regards to hitch mounted bike racks is if you're still going to be able to have full hatch access in the back of your SUV. Well, this one does fold down out of the way and allows us to do that. Down here, one pin and clip, pop that out, this swings down, and this one actually comes down quite a bit. So we're going to have a ton of room to get whatever we might need in and out of the back of our Mitsubishi. more

Rola Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander- Video

Today on our 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander, we're going to be taking a look at the Rola TX-102 Tilting Bike Rack.Now, this is going to be able to hold a total of two bikes, and it's going to secure our bike down in three spots. We're going to have two straps here on the top two. We're also going to have a strap down here, which will act as an anti-sway strap to help eliminate any side to side movement. Now, let's go ahead and take our bike off the rack, that way we can take a better look at it. To do that, we'll just pull down on our straps, unseat them from the clips, then we're able to lift our bike off.The rack can be tilted back to allow us to have full access to our hatch. more

Yakima Holdup Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor- Video
Today were going to show our test fit of the Yakima Holdup 2 bike rack on our 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor. What we are going to do first is to install the bike rack into the hitch. We will line up the pin hole and install the anti-rattle pin. With our anti-rattle pin secured, we will install the safety pin. Now that this bike rack is fully secured, what we are going to do is show you some clearances from the hitch to the ground and then we will fold the bike rack down and give you the clearances between the rack and our ground. We will also give you the clearance between the nearest point of the bike rack to the bumper. more

Thule Vertex 4 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor- Video
Alright today on this 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor we are going to test fit of the Thule bicycle rack part number TH9029 from Thule, the Vertex 4. A couple of quick notes about this bicycle rack is that will work with a 1-1/4 inch receiver hitch on class one and class two. However the class one receiver hitch, you are limited to two bicycles. Now our application here has a 2 inch receiver on it so we will use a 2 inch spacer that is included with the bike rack. OK, we will go ahead and start by installing the bike rack into the hitch and then we will tighten down the anti-rattle bolt. Now the bike rack does come with a tool to tighten down the bolt, however a 3/4 inch ratchet wrench works good too. more
